It’s quite amazing to think that the corn plant Amelia started last spring could fit in the palm of her hand. I’m wondering what she fed her corn plant to make it grow so high. Looking forward to seeing all of you next week at the Open House!

Parent Survey
Welcome to 2nd Grade!!!!!
I love the month of August and all the preparations for the new school year! IF your child is a new 2nd grader in my class this fall, I have one important task you can do for me, and that is to click on the link and take the Parent Survey. It is only 10 questions long and it will help make sure I have the correct name on name tags, the correct birth date on the birthday board, etc. I also ask that you email me at: cgreenlu@hpseagles.net to let me know anything else you would like me to know about your child. Thank you!
July “What’s the Scoop” Winners!
Happy Summer!
At the end of the school year we made a goal we would read at least 20 minutes every day. I know some students are reading their library books, some are reading on other sites….. but the one way I can monitor their reading is if they go on Raz-kids.com. I promised I would pick 4 students at the end of each month to win $5 “What’s The Scoop” gift cards. The winners for the July drawing are:
Hunter Rose, Grant Miller, Addison Miller, and Tayah Brenner
Your gift cards have been sent.
Way to go!!!!
August 1 starts a new month! I will have another drawing on August 30!!!! Keep reading and avoid the SUMMER SLIDE!
